Here's what's trending for June 1.

There are way more questions than answers right now after a vehicle was found in a river. Crews were called to the Lehigh River in Allentown after a vehicle ended up in the water. It happened early Monday morning, right under the American Parkway Bridge. There's no word on what led to the incident, or the extent of any injuries.

Flowers have been placed at a Berks County crash site where police officer Kristin Yeager died. Cheryl Summerfelt was among those paying their respects and she explains why she came. "It's hard when you see something like that and you know what happened. It's hard to swallow," Summerfelt says. Yeager was responding to an emergency assist request from a neighboring police department around 8 o'clock Friday night when she lost control of her patrol car, left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck a tree.

Allentown police are investigating a shooting incident over the weekend. The department says one shot was fired during a fight on the 300 block of Linden Street Saturday night. Authorities say nobody was hit by gunfire, but one person was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the altercation. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Allentown P-D.

The Lehigh Valley's next Wawa is set to open later this week. Free coffee and shirts will be given away when Wawa opens its new store at 8 o'clock Thursday night at 10 Stonegate Drive in Allen Township. The first 100 customers will receive free “Wawa Grand Opening Tour in the USA” as supplies last, and free hot coffee of any size will be available through June 7.

The American Red Cross is among the organizations recognizing CPR and AED Awareness Week beginning today. The annual occasion is meant to draw attention to the importance of learning about and using the life-saving technique and medical devices. The Red Cross reports over 350-thousand cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals every year in the U.S. and only about 40 percent of those patients receive CPR before emergency medical teams arrive. The nonprofit is encouraging everyone to take CPR and AED certification courses. Folks can find the nearest classes by searching red-cross-dot-org.

Pennsylvania is among the top five states in the country when it comes to dog attacks on postal carriers. Results of a new survey released by the U.S. Postal Service show 267 such incidents reported in the Keystone State last year -- the fifth-most among all states. California was the state with the highest number of reported dog-bite incidents on mail carriers with 673. The Postal Service is urging dog owners to keep their pets secured while outside or in a separate, closed room before opening the front door.

Family visitation has resumed at Delaney Hall in Newark, which continues to be the focus of protests over the alleged mistreatment of detainees and claims of poor conditions at the facility. Governor Mikie Sherill announced the change yesterday, saying the Department of Homeland Security had agreed to restore visitation. The announcement came after a tense week in which Governor Sherrill brought in state police to provide security outside the facility. Meanwhile, Mayor Ras Baraka ordered an overnight curfew this weekend. The mandatory curfew covers a half-mile area surrounding Delaney Hall from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Last night, hundreds of officers detained a handful of demonstrators after the curfew took effect as protests and counter-protests were held.

Early voting for tomorrow's primary elections in New Jersey has ended, as New Jerseyans prepare to pick nominees for U.S. Senators, House of Representatives and county and municipal offices. First-time voters who registered by mail will be asked to show identification at the polls tomorrow. Anyone who's uncertain whether their vote was counted can ask a poll worker for help. Poll will be open tomorrow from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
