At its Wednesday night meeting, Easton City Council tabled a resolution supporting and protecting immigrant communities. The vote came after council heard from residents on the issue. "The time is now to be acting while people are being kidnapped. This is the least we can be doing. Don't let me down again," one man said. Another man told council he was opposed to the resolution. "I read the resolution and it just falls short of using the words sanctuary city and that's essentially what it will become," the man said. Council voted 6-1 in favor of tabling the issue.

Additional gourmet food and drink items will be available by pre-order and there is hostess service on-site as well. Each cabana costs $555 and they're on sale now.

It's unknown if the shortage was linked to the Tuesday incident, where police said a pep rally in the gym was evacuated after the gun was found. There is no indication the shortage will continue today.

This comes as birds become more reliant on bird feeders in the fall and winter. Bird feeders can be cleaned by being soaked in warm, soapy water and then scrubbed by using a one part bleach to nine parts water solution.

Daibes began serving his sentence at FCI Fairton in Cumberland County in May. A White House official says the administration does not comment on pardons. Last week, President Trump commuted the sentence of former New York Republican Congressman George Santos.
