"I don't even know how to process this as an adult," one woman says. A woman, three boys and a girl are listed as the five who died. Three of the children attend school in the Lehighton Area School District and district officials say counselors are on hand to help students process what happened. Way back on February 4, Gov. Josh Shapiro unveiled his budget. June 30 was the supposed deadline to have it passed by lawmakers. Now, it's the first week of October and Pennsylvania still doesn't have a budget in place and Shapiro admits to being frustrated. "I can propose the budget. I can't vote on it. The legislature has to show up for work, do their job, treat the citizens they represent with respect enough to actually show up for work," Shapiro says. In the 240 days since the budget was released, Shapiro says the state Senate has only come to work about 30 times. State Republican leadership says while they are negotiating with Democrats in good faith, Shapiro and House Democratic leaders, “continue to advocate for plans that spend beyond taxpayers’ means.”

The man accused of ramming the Pittsburgh FBI gate with his vehicle is staying in jail without bond. Air Force veteran Donald Henson appeared for a detention hearing yesterday, where his history of mental health challenges was discussed. Henson previously got treatment through the VA and was involuntarily committed at one point as well. The judge granted the motion from prosecutors to hold him until trial, deeming him a danger to the public and a flight risk. The judge did, however, thank Henson for his military service and commended him for seeking mental health treatment in the past.
