Palmer Township police officials say a 64-year-old woman was injured Saturday when a car crashed into a Palmer Park Mall store. The woman was walking into a Boscov's store entrance when she was hit by the vehicle, which was driven by an 88-year-old woman. The woman who was hit in the crash was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Rail service will resume tomorrow to allow a day for workers to inspect and prepare infrastructure.
State lawmakers in Trenton are considering a bill that would provide free beach access to young people under 18 years of age and beach access discounts for veterans. The measure would leave it up to coastal areas as to whether free access or discounts for youth would be offered. Currently, free access is offered to youth under 12. The bill eliminates the requirement that veterans show proof of 90 days of service to receive discounts.
Major League Baseball is suspending the Phillies' closer for performance-enhancing drugs. The league announced on Sunday that Jose Alvarado has been banned for 80 games. Phillies president Dave Dombrowski says he believes Alvarado when he says he did not knowingly take the substance. "He was trying to take a weight loss reduction.
