Palmer Township police officials say a 64-year-old woman was injured Saturday when a car crashed into a Palmer Park Mall store. The woman was walking into a Boscov's store entrance when she was hit by the vehicle, which was driven by an 88-year-old woman. The woman who was hit in the crash was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Bethlehem police are asking for your help to find the driver in a hit-and-run last week. Officers say the suspect struck a pedestrian on the 2100 block of Industrial Drive Thursday night then fled the scene. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but they are expected to survive. Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Bethlehem PD.

An Allentown City Council member and the Lehigh Valley's congressman are having a spat. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie is criticizing CeCe Gerlach for her comments at a "Benefits over Billionaires" event Saturday in Allentown. During that event, Gerlach quoted a convicted cop killer Assata Shakur and called her a freedom fighter. Gerlach replied, "This is yet another attempt by Ryan Mackenzie to distract residents from his efforts to cut Medicaid and other vital programs that people across the Lehigh Valley rely on."

The Pennsylvania State Police are joining law enforcement agencies across the nation in continuing the Click It or Ticket campaign this week. The initiative runs now through June first. Troopers are enforcing the state's seat belt law and promoting proper usage of child safety seats. Drivers are reminded to buckle up and follow traffic rules to maintain safety and avoid citations.

Democratic Senator John Fetterman said Biden has been a fighter his whole life, and will prevail in this new battle. Republican Senator Dave McCormick said he is praying for a speedy recovery. A spokesperson announced yesterday that the former president has been diagnosed with prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. The spokesperson went on to say Biden and his family are going over treatment options.

The spokesperson went on to say Biden and his family are going over treatment options.

Biden's office released a statement yesterday that said Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The statement said the former president and his family are reviewing treatment options. In an online post, Governor Murphy said he and First Lady Tammy Murphy wish the entire Biden family strength during this difficult time.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says rail service will resume Tuesday after the engineers' union and New Jersey Transit reached a deal Sunday evening. "I am delighted to report that NJ Transit and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen have reached a tentative agreement," Murphy said Sunday night. Rail service will resume tomorrow to allow a day for workers to inspect and prepare infrastructure.

State lawmakers in Trenton are considering a bill that would provide free beach access to young people under 18 years of age and beach access discounts for veterans. The measure would leave it up to coastal areas as to whether free access or discounts for youth would be offered. Currently, free access is offered to youth under 12. The bill eliminates the requirement that veterans show proof of 90 days of service to receive discounts.

Major League Baseball is suspending the Phillies' closer for performance-enhancing drugs. The league announced on Sunday that Jose Alvarado has been banned for 80 games. Phillies president Dave Dombrowski says he believes Alvarado when he says he did not knowingly take the substance. "He was trying to take a weight loss reduction. He's always been self-conscious of his weight and always working hard on it. But something he took led to positive results. But, ultimately, it's a situation where if that happens you're still responsible for it," Dombrowski says. Alvarado isn't eligible to return until August 19 and he is also ineligible to pitch in the postseason.
