Nandi Bushell Reacts To Dave Grohl's Song About Her

This year admittedly hasn't given us much to be excited about, but at least it gave us Nandi Bushell and Dave Grohl's epic drum battle. The battle began last month, when the 10-year-old prodigy drummed a cover of "Everlong" and challenged Grohl. He accepted, and played Them Crooked Vultures' "Dead End Friends."

The young viral sensation answered with her own rendition of the song — going so far as to dress like the Foo Fighters frontman. Grohl conceded round one and said he had "something special in mind" for round two. He wasn't kidding!

On Monday (September 14), the former Nirvana drummer dropped a theme song he wrote about Bushell and her badassery, and the next day she shared her reaction. Naturally, her mind was blown.

Bushell's jaw dropped immediately when Grohl revealed he wrote a song about her, and her look of disbelief greatened as she continued watching.

"He wrote a song about me, wow! And he played all the instruments, by himself, off the top of his head. Crazy," she said after the song was over. "Thank you so much, Dave Grohl. Thank you so much!"

She then looked offscreen, presumably to her parent who was recording. "We should cover it!" she exclaimed. "All of the instruments, we’re gonna cover. Let’s get started!"

"He wrote a song dedicated to ME!" she yelled in delight one more time, jumping up and down.
